YOUR CHOICES
Cookie policy
The technologies we use, why we use them and how you can control non-essential analytics and advertising.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy covers cookies and similar storage or access technologies used by Riverforge Ltd, trading as RapidWebsites. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage and identifiers that can recognise a browser or device.
How consent works
Strictly necessary technologies may operate because the site cannot provide a requested feature or remain secure without them. Before non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will provide a clear consent choice and will not enable them unless the required consent has been given. Rejecting them will not prevent access to the site. When those tools are active, you will be able to withdraw or change your choice through the cookie settings control. Clearing browser storage may also reset your choice.
Technology categories
| Category | What it does | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, form protection, account sessions, checkout and remembering privacy choices. | Not normally required where the legal exception applies. |
| Analytics | Counts visits and interactions, diagnoses usability issues and helps us understand how the site performs. | Used only after the required consent. |
| Advertising | Measures campaigns, attributes conversions, limits or personalises adverts and may build advertising audiences. | Used only after the required consent. |
| Experience | Remembers optional preferences or supports enhanced third-party features. | Used after consent unless strictly necessary for a feature you request. |
Providers we expect to use
| Provider | Purpose | Typical storage period |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Audience and interaction measurement, including page and event data. | Session items to identifiers lasting up to 2 years, depending on configuration. |
| Google Ads | Conversion measurement, campaign attribution, remarketing and audience features. | Common identifiers range from about 90 days to 13 months. |
| Meta | Meta Pixel conversion measurement, campaign attribution and audience features. | Common browser identifiers typically last up to 3 months. |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag measurement, attribution and audience features. | Common identifiers range from a session to about 12 months. | |
| Microsoft Clarity | Aggregated usage, heatmaps and session-replay style diagnostics to improve usability. | Common identifiers range from a session to about 12 months. |
These tools are not necessarily active at all times. Names, durations and behaviour can change when providers update their services or when we change configuration. When tracking is implemented, the live consent panel will show the current technologies detected on the site. We will audit that list when tags are added or changed.
Other providers
We may add another analytics, advertising, testing, embedded-content or security provider as the service develops. We will not treat this sentence as blanket consent. Where the technology is non-essential, we will add it to the consent controls and update the relevant information before enabling it.
Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may prevent account, checkout or other requested features from working. Browser controls do not always prevent other technologies such as pixels or local storage, so when the site displays cookie settings, use those controls as well.
